This week I have been spending only £1 a day on my food and drink. This is part of a project called Live Below The Line. I have been trying to understand how difficult it is for people to eat when they are very poor. I have also raised £245 for the charity Afrikids. Afrikids works in the area of Ghana where I went to work last summer. Let’s Read Ghana is supported by Afrikids. I have been able to have enough to eat this week but I have not had any snacks or treats and it has not been much fun. I am lucky that, tomorrow, I will be able to spend some more on my food. Many people are not so fortunate.
